Five years back when I started working first time on Fiverr, I have no idea how I would grow on this platform. It took me a lot of time to understand how I can grow fast at this platform. There are a lot videos and blogs available on this topic but I will try to share things that helped me a lot as a personal exposure.
Lets talk about Fiverr Gigs, after creating account , first thing that you would do as a seller is creation of gigs.
Step 1: Overview
Your title should be crystal clean and clear.
I would personally recommend you to read terms & conditions of Fiver before starting it will clear maximum things to you.
Try to avoid title that does not meet Fiver terms e.g. I will solve your Mathematics assignment etc. Fiverr will not do anything at the time of creation of gig but when you have completed order and your payment is under review (will discuss it later on) then your account will be reviewed , at that time they will terminate your account. I can understand the pain because after putting that much effort when you get terminated then it’s hard to bear.
Select most relevant category and subcategory of your work because your buyer requests will pop up according these categories. Buyer request section will be discussed later on.
Your search tags should be relevant. Before creating your gig , search gig of same category as a buyer and look into top rated gigs and check their search tags , then copy those tags and use them for your gig. It will help you to appear at the top of search.
Step 2: Pricing
As a new seller with zero ratings I would suggest you to keep your price minimum. Some people prefer new sellers because they have short budget, so grab that opportunity by keeping your price low.
Provide maximum revisions to your client until satisfaction. Don’t charge for revisions as a new seller. Your aim should be to target clients with minimum price and maximum revisions until you get 5 stars on your profile.
Step 3: Description and FAQ
Never copy paste description from other buyers gig. Copy paste is cheating and it could cost you termination of your account as well because of copyrights.
If you are not creative enough to design your own description then look into gigs of others to get the idea how to compile description but make sure just get idea don’t copy.
Mention each and every experience relevant to that gig so buyer can trust you. Don’t mention things about which you don’t have idea. Use Bold, Italic and Numbering to make your description attractive.
Step 5: Gallery
If you have any kind of media material supporting your gig in terms of experience then must attach it , it will increase chances of your gig to be successful. It could be picture , certificate, slides, work experience and link to your work. Avoid copying pictures from Google because those pictures contain copyrights which could cause termination of your account.
That’s all about creation of gigs , will talk about remaining topics in further posts.
